Reading Be Like the Best is like attending a seminar with 50 of the top fitness professionals and getting to sit down for lunch with each one of them.
The three things I loved about this book… 1. The early morning routines 2. Hearing about the sacrifices people have made for success. It’s nice to know we are not alone 3. The “Be Likes” that urge you to take action and reflect on your own goals, habits, and career.

Be Like the Best should be read by everyone, not just in the fitness industry. Holds a lot of great insight to those who are where you want to be. Like Anthony said, you can read it however you want, cover to cover or find someone. The actionable steps at the end of each interview will help you keep moving forward.
Pure Gold
I’ve read a lot of books similar to this over the years where experts are interviewed on different areas they are subject matter experts in….VERY FEW deliver the way Be Like the Best one does! Anthony Renna put together a great resource for anyone wanting to find their way to success is fitness and sport performance!
Must Read For ANYONE That Wants To THRIVE!
Be Like the Best is a must read for anyone that wants to thrive, regardless of your profession! Anthony does a great job of compiling experience based advise from some of the most successful people in the Fitness field, but the lessons can apply to all! It’s much more than a list of “do’s and don’ts.” The contributors are very vulnerable and honest about mistakes they’ve made and how anyone can learn from their experiences. The challenges at the end of each chapter are awesome to get the wheels rolling and apply to your specific situation and goals.
This is a book that I’ll refer back to down the road. This is not a one and done!

Be Like the Best is extremely valuable. It really is an action plan at it’s finest! I bought it on a late night impulse buy recommended from Brett Bartholomew’s IG story and it turns out it’ll be something I’ll turn to for the rest of my life. You’re bound to find something in it that will push you forward. Read it many times and use it as the workbook it’s designed to be!!

Be Like the Best is a great book that I plowed through. If you’re interested in the strength and conditioning or athletic peak performance, this book is filled with gems from some fantastic people that are some of the most respected individuals in each of their communities.
Be Like the Best is the Best!
The sheer genius of Be Like the Best is in the incredible amount of useful information it comprises in a very readable format. It’s a gold mine of practical wisdom , offering advice and inspiration from the best fitness pros in the industry. The Be Likes provide actual steps to follow towards self-improvement. The interviews each give individual insight into things like the definition of success, ambition/motivation, resilience in adversity, morning routines, and goal-setting. Be Like the Best is a unique, meaningful contribution to the fitness business.
Motivating
Insiprational and informative! I enjoyed the layout of the interviews and the suggested reads were an added bonus. Anthony highlights these chosen professionals in a fun and relatable way. We read about the common trends as well as the unique differences that have led them to success. We also get to learn some success DIY tricks too. This book gives a boost to all at any point in ones career.

Be Like the Best is extremely valuable! You’re bound to find something in it that will push you forward and get you thinking. Can’t think of anyone who wouldn’t benefit from reading this one, this book is filled with lots of lessons from some fantastic people that are some of the most respected individuals in each of their communities. Be Like the Best allows you to read it however you want, cover to cover or read it one individual at a time, apply and repeat. You might think this type of book has already be written but I believe as Ray Edwards has said, “There’s people out there who can only hear your voice.” and Anthony is the man.

In 2007, I started The Strength Coach Podcast to try to reach strength and conditioning coaches, personal trainers and therapists all over the world and help them to decipher all of the information that was being thrown at them from every angle.
It quickly became one of the go-to resources that fitness professionals of all kinds couldn’t get enough of. It led me to becoming a partner in StrengthCoach.com and BodybyBoyleOnline.com, launch Strength Coach TV and 2 more podcasts, Stop & Give Me 20 and Tell Me About That Book.
